Services We Provide

Credit Cards

The four major credit cards used in the United States are Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®. To learn more about accepting these cards for your business, please contact us.

Debit Cards

Two types of debit cards are available in the United States: The signature debit and the PIN (Personal Identification Number)-based debit, which are also referred to as the offline and online debit cards. When using a signature debit card, customers sign their transactions and payments are settled at the end of the business day just as they are with credit transactions. With PIN-based debit cards, merchants select “Debit” on merchants’ terminals and customers enter their PIN on the PIN pad. This transaction is settled in real time and the funds are instantly deducted from customers’ accounts.

Payment Systems Worldwide can show merchants how using each of these cards can save money for your company. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more.

Check Services

Payment Systems Worldwide offers two types of check services to our merchant clients:

  • Electronic Check Transfer uses a device to image checks at the point of sale and deposit the funds into merchants’ business accounts. This product is convenient and saves merchants money by limiting trips to the bank.
  • Check Guarantee can be used in conjunction with Electronic Check Transfer or as a stand-alone product. Just as with Electronic Check Transfer, checks are imaged. With Check Guarantee, however, they are also checked for complete and accurate routing numbers and against a national database. If the check is approved but it is returned, it will be sent to the processor to collect the funds and you, as the merchant, will not incur return check fees.

Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about either of these services.

Wireless

Mobility is essential to the success of many businesses and wireless processing gives merchants the same convenient method of processing except a wireless connection is used instead of a phone line. This allows mobile merchants to qualify for the same swiped rates that brick-and-mortar businesses have always used. Today, mobility is being taken one step further with applications to run credit card transactions on a merchant’s smart phone. To learn more, please contact us.

E-Commerce and Payment Gateways

E-commerce merchant accounts are available for merchants doing business using a website. This product allows you to process transactions in real time 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A payment gateway is required to process these transactions securely over the internet. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about this product.

PCI DSS ensures that merchants’ customer cardholders’ data is secure. All U.S. merchants are required to comply with PCI DSS by July 1, 2010 in order to continue to accept credit cards as payments for goods and services by completing the SAQ (Standard Assessment Questionnaire) and earning certification.
